PHASE ONE: $50M

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The first stage of our project will involve a vigorous community engagement program. We will seek constructive and open dialogue with the community surrounding MASS EPIPHANY STUDIOS. Investments will also be made in public housing opportunities for those that are underserved or in need. A training  and jobs program will be initiated to start including the neighborhood's citizens in our efforts at MASS EPIPHANY STUDIOS.

V.O.I.C.E. VOCATIONAL ACADEMY

Our first construction project will be the V.O.I.C.E. VOCATIONAL ACADEMY, a brand new media and arts facility that will accommodate several programs designed to teach all aspects of the film and television industry. From security guard to grip, from actor to editor, from director to executive producer, and every job in between, the V.O.I.C.E. VOCATIONAL ACADEMY will serve as an incubator for countless job opportunities.

THE ANIMATION STUDIO

A key component of the film and television industry now and into the future will be animation. With the completion of our animation studio, MASS EPIPHANY STUDIOS will be able to bring the stories of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ peoples to life through the wonderful medium of animation.

PHASE TWO: $75M

MASS EPIPHANY STUDIOS

The complex will provide a top-of-the-line motion picture studio system Chicago designed to aid in the education, development, production, and distribution of film and television content created and constructed by BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ peoples. When fully operational, the studio would house 10 state-of-the-art sound stages, a VOLUME circular sound stage, and Chicago’s first STUDIO CITY BACK LOT. This will allow for year-round unobstructed and protected shooting conditions.

THE POST PRODUCTION STUDIO

A top-of-the-line visual effects post production studio with five individual edit bays will be built in this final stage. It will be facilitated and staffed by the workforce that has been educated in the V.O.I.C.E. VOCATIONAL ACADEMY since Phase One.

THE STUDIO: PART ONE

The construction of five brand new, fully functioning production stages with the potential of housing up to five film and/or television productions.

PHASE THREE: $75M

THE VOLUME

The VOLUME is a state-of-the-art, 360-degree rear projection studio designed by Disney for the production, The Mandalorian. It is a circular stage where ceilings and walls are covered in high-def LED panels that can simulate the topography of distant worlds with eerie accuracy. It provides a fully enclosed space that can capture a plethora of visual effects in-camera. You can literally be everywhere inside the VOLUME. This drastically reduces postproduction and physical production costs, as any location can be recreated inside the volume. There is only one such stage in the world that currently belongs to Disney.

Building a VOLUME for the city of Chicago would make the city the go-to studio when looking to make affordable, yet high-end, visually appealing entertainment. It would certainly attract productions from all over the world, defining Chicago as "the Hollywood of the Midwest."

THE BACK LOT: PART ONE

The Chicago film industry is desperately in need of a fully functioning, fully enclosed STUDIO BACK LOT. This would provide a 100% controllable environment in which productions can film outdoors in a variety of different settings. The first back lot would consist of a city block very reminiscent of Chicago neighborhoods.

PHASE FOUR: $50M

THE STUDIO: PART TWO

The final stage of studio construction will consist of the final five production sound stages, including one green screen stage and a practical visual effects stage.

THE BACK LOT: PART TWO

The second stage of the CITY BACK LOT construction will consist of two more city streets: one with an ever-revolving capability that would allow for multiple cities to be shot in Chicago, and the second street would emulate a downtown scape, which would resemble parts

of Michigan Avenue.

THE CAMPUS: FINAL STAGE

In the final stage of our build, we look forward to constructing an all-encompassing public campus that will house all of the buildings from the first three phases. We will also begin inviting local businesses to join the campus and set up shop inside MASS EPIPHANY STUDIOS, which we will be adorned by various works of art created by the students of the V.O.I.C.E. VOCATIONAL ACADEMY.
